Training resumes to normal times of 19:00 on Mondays at Ely college.

Present: Alli Brown, Hannah Brown, Tom Grimshaw, Chris Brown, David McLeish, Allie Kulcsar, George Notley, Philip Morton, Lucy Lloyd and Sam Green.

Whilst training will not restart in Ely college until September, throughout the summer Vikings will be setting up outdoor sessions across Ely at 7:15. At the following locations;

The u14 National League drew to a close this weekend with the final round of matches played over the weekend. We had a strong finish to our debut season drawing with Tigers 8-8 and beating Cambridge City 11-4. The first game was very clsoe throughout trading goals all the way. A late goal wasn't quite enough to snatch victory with Tigers getting an even later goal to draw a very even match. We took this performance into our following match and were able to control possession and with some great shooting were able to get into an early lead which allowed us to control the game and extend our lead to run out comfortable 11-4 winners.

Monday 24th April - Training will take place at Needhams Gym at Ely College (Located at older part of college. through the green gates by the layby.)

Due to half term there will be no Junior training on the 13/02/17.

Vikings 1 the reigning CKA champions had the perfect start to the korfball season, with a 12-7 win against Cambridge Phoenix. Vikings took off to an early lead and managed to maintain it through out. Which included a goal from former coach Adam Twiss, as well as last season’s top scorer Chris Brown contributing 5 of the goals. Vikings 1 second game saw another well fought success, defeating Littleport Lions 17-9, again controlling the game from the start. Chris and Hannah Brown scored 5 a piece and there was a great debut performance by Sam Green.
